Arike Ogunbowale

Arike She is an American professional basketball player. She is a member of the Dallas Wings Women's National Basketball Association. The team was selected with the 5th selection overall during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale's father and mother Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd, 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. Being the youngest of them family member, her parents provided her with the best treatment. Gregory his father was a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale hails from a dynamic family. Her brother Dare played football, and Yolanda Ogunbowale, her mother was a softball player. Aunty played tennis at UAPB. Her cousin Endia is a volleyball player too on the field at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale appeared in the honor roll of her school for three years in a row. In addition, she has won numerous honors and has received acclaim and recognition from her high school career. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located within her own hometown. Apart from studying Arike also played on three varsity teams while at Divine Holy Angels Savior High School. Ogunbowale's outstanding skills led to her school winning stunning victories repeatedly. She compiled her High School career with 73 career starts and lists career totals of 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale managed to take home gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships as well as 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was selected to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also a part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her first year at the college. Kobe Bryant himself congratulated Ogunbowale for the NCCA Tournament big shot. Ogunbowale is a relative newcomer to the game of basketball, has already established herself as a star. She will surely keep on going throughout her professional career.
