Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld's fourth season as Gail Cunningham, a chef who was looking to buy Elaine Benes' shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular cast member of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show to focus on working full-time. Barone was a guest in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the first season (from 1995 until 1996), and then on The War at Home between 2005 between 2005 and the year 2007. Then, in 2000 Barone also co-starred in The sitcom Daddio. Barone is also famous for her TV roles on Desperate Homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone's work on the film One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. Barone has a recurring part on Shake It Up on Disney Channel that began in the year following The War at Home had been completed. The role in which she is played by officer Georgia Jones who is the mother CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband, guest-starred in the show for two seasons. Shake It Up in the character of J.J. Jones.
